Presets follow public guidance
Size and dimension presets are based on publicly available guidance and may change over time. Always check the current requirements on the official portal before submitting anything important.
Accuracy, kept up to date as best we can
We do our best to keep presets — like passport photo dimensions or exam upload limits — accurate. If one here doesn't match your form's current instructions, follow the form's instructions.
No liability for outcomes
We are not liable for a rejected application, delayed submission, or any other outcome resulting from the use of files produced by this site.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Is TagOnline an official government photo tool?
No. It's an independent, privately run website that helps prepare photos to commonly known specifications — it has no official connection to any exam board, passport office, or government department.
What if my form's requirements don't match a preset here?
Trust the official form every time. Use the flexible tools on this site (like the custom-KB compressor or pixel resizer) to match the exact number the form asks for.
Who do I contact if a preset looks outdated?
Please email a note through the contact page — corrections are usually made quickly once flagged.
