JPG, PNG or WEBP โ up to 20 at once, processed entirely in your browserWhy a flexible compressor is useful
Most upload forms use a round number like 50KB, 100KB or 200KB, which is why this site has a dedicated page for each of those. But plenty of portals ask for something more specific — 75KB, 150KB, or a limit set by an institution's own IT team — and typing your own number here saves you from settling for a preset that doesn't quite match.
The tool works the same way underneath: it repeatedly re-encodes your photo at a lower JPEG quality, and if that alone isn't enough, it also reduces the pixel dimensions slightly until your target is met.
โ Frequently asked questions
Can I set a target larger than my original file?
Yes โ the tool will simply detect that your file already fits and return it unchanged, rather than trying to inflate it.
What's the smallest size I can target?
You can type any value down to 1KB, though extremely small targets will need heavy compression and noticeable quality loss.
Does changing the number after uploading re-run the compression?
Yes โ update the target size field and the tool automatically re-compresses the photo you already uploaded.
